Me

My name is Victoria Martin and I am a graduate from the College of Natural Sciences at The University of Texas at Austin. I have a Bachelor of Science in Textiles and Apparel: Apparel, Functional, and Technical Design and a Minor in Entrepreneurship. I worked as a Creative Fashion Designer in the Wholesale Division at Rebel Athletic. My role at Rebel involved utilizing the Adobe Creative Suite to draw apparel designs, make tech packs, create graphics/prints, make custom logos, and edit typography. My designs have been showcased in several Rebel Lookbooks, including on the cover of the 2024 Rebel in Beijing Couture Lookbook, 2026 Rebel in Puerto Rico Lookbook, & 2026 Marching Arts Lookbook. Additionally, my work appeared as the finale in the first fashion show to be held by a US based company on The Great Wall of China. ​

 

My skill set includes sewing, draping, patternmaking, and utilizing the Adobe Creative Suite software to make technical flats and tech packs. My retail experience includes working as a salesperson for Pavement Modern and Recycled Fashion, where I assisted in creating window displays, dressing mannequins in seasonal attire, maintaining the sales floor, conducting sales at the register, and organizing merchandise. Additionally, I have acquired thousands of hours of customer service throughout my various roles where I developed my skills in teamwork, communication, conflict resolution, interpersonal relations, and adaptability.
