Role: Fashion Designer/Fashion Illustrator/Trend Researcher

Team Size: Solo Project

Objective: Choose an existing brand and design 5 looks that smoothly integrate with the brand's existing products and target market. Include: 5 looks, about the brand, 10-15 sketches, target customer, inspiration, and technical flats of each garment in the collection.

Process/Challenges: For this project, I initially had chosen to do a Dollskill X Winx Club collab. However, a week after I started this project, Dollskill announced they were creating a Winx Club collection and that it would drop in 2 weeks. My biggest challenge in this assignment was choosing whether to continue with my initial inspiration and the comparison to the actual collection it might face or find a new inspiration. I ended up finding new inspiration and changed my sketches to reflect my new inspiration. After the initial sketches, I chose 5 to make technical flats for in illustrator. Once my flats were completed, I added finishing touches in photoshop. Lastly, I hand drew my illustrations featuring my 5 looks on croquis.
