A Perfect Sunset

Role: Fashion Designer/Fashion Illustrator/Trend Researcher

Team Size: Solo Project

Objective: Choose an existing brand and design 5 looks that smoothly integrate with the brand's existing products and target market. Include: 5 looks, about the brand, target customer, inspiration, how these products are produced sustainability, current competitors/state of the market, and technical flats of each garment in the collection.

Process/Challenges: I began by hand drawing my designs on existing croquis I found online. Hand drawing my designs for this particular brand was definitely the biggest challenge I faced when working on this project due to the intricate details I was intending to add to some of my designs. The next step was to draw the technical flats for my designs on illustrator. I had a difficult time narrowing down the 5 I wanted for my collection, so I drew more of my hand drawn designs in illustrator to choose from. For my illustrations, I traced the croquis I found digitally and incorporated different sizing by adjusting the lines. Finally, I chose my final 5 looks and added finishing touches on photoshop.
