Role: Fashion Designer/Fashion Illustrator

Team Size: Solo Project

Objective: Create a look-book for your own brand and design a collection that includes 10 looks. Include: an about the brand page, a colors and fabrics used page, a page that involves drawing an outfit from an image found online, several previous projects in photoshop from this class, 10 illustrations, and technical flats for all garments and accessories.

Process/Challenges: This project was a challenge from start to finish as it was completed in the allotted time of half a semester. However, the biggest challenge for this assignment was being able to include all the detail I wanted in each individual garment or accessory featured in this collection. For this project, I did not do any hand sketching of outfits prior, as I wanted to hone in my skills of using illustrator to make quick sketches. All of the garments, accessories, and illustrations were made in illustrator and then taken to photoshop for final touches, including shading, coloring, and highlighting.
