Role: Fashion Designer/Fashion Illustrator/Trend Researcher

Team Size: Solo Project

Objective: Choose an existing brand or create your own brand and design 5 outfits in 2 colorways that smoothly integrate with the brand's existing products and target market. Include: 2 sets of 5 outfits in differing colorways, target customer, inspiration, fabrics utilized, and technical flats of each garment in the collection.

Process/Challenges: I began by researching the brand in order to determine its aesthetic then began sketching designs in illustrator immediately. Since this project was assigned to be completed in 3 weeks, it was definitely a challenge to come up with a lot of designs just to narrow them down, so I ended up using iterations of the first 5 outfits I designed. Once the technical flats were completed, I made my fashion illustrations in both colorways.
